In coordination with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Warrior Wagons will be holding a fundraising drive this September! Our campaign, “Pulling Together for Warrior Wagons” is seeking monetary donations to support our cause and keep our operations going. We want to thank all of you who have stood behind our Warriors in the past, and are hoping we can count on your support yet again. We welcome the support of first-time donors as well! Without the support of people like you, we wouldn’t be able to continue to gift Warrior Wagons to the families of childhood cancer patients.
The average cost of a Warrior Wagon is $250. Whatever amount you are willing to contribute is appreciated, and for businesses we kindly suggest support at these tiered levels:
We thought it would be impactful if supporters could “Pull Together” to make their contribution – whether it be families, work groups, clubs, or a business. Some ideas of how you might pull together are:
- Your sports team could do a service project and donate earnings to our fundraising drive.
- Your office could host a jeans day or bake sale and donate the funds raised.
- A contribution could be made in honor/celebration of a special occasion coming up in your family.
- A customer service-based business could ask patrons to round up their bill or make a donation at the cash register to contribute towards a donation made by the business.
- You may find it easiest to simply make a monetary donation directly to Warrior Wagons.

In partnership with our campaign, the Rochester Group of Thrivent Financial is planning an event for their contribution!
They will be hosting a Fundraiser at the 4H Building at the Rochester Fairgrounds on September 28th from 4-7PM. The free-will donation event will have Firebrick Bread Wood-Fired Pizzas, a silent auction, trivia, and other fun family games. Attending this event is yet another way to support us in September!
